Host Information


Campus hosts were nominated by faculty and selected by the committee because they possess a combination of leadership, social, and academic abilities. If you were invited to be a campus host, this page explains what you will be asked to do and why you should do it.

What would you be asked to do?

  • Meet your guest high school student at 9:00 a.m. in the lobby of Murphy Hall.
  • Join your student for a complementary lunch and keynote speech
  • Select and attend presentations with your guest student.
  • Visit poster presentations and introduce your guest to other DSU students
  • Take your guest student on a campus tour if they are interested.
  • Join your guest student at the award and recognition ceremony


Why should you do it?

  • Share your own DSU experiences with a future student.
  • Enhance your graduate school application or employment resume.
  • Receive recognition during the award ceremony.
  • Show your support for DSU as a warm and welcoming campus.
